Using your home scanner to turn your negatives and slides into digital pictures has one large problem - the light comes from the wrong direction. Slides & negatives are designed to have the light pass through them, and home scanners bounce the light off them, then try to compensate.
Pass-through scanning technology
Using a top-light scanner that passes the light through the media on the way to the receiver produces a truer image. This image then can be digitally manipulated to repair many of the ravages of time.We'll drop the original scan on a data CD for your use. We can also do minor image corrected, enlargements (for older, small photos) and cropping as you desire, and place those photos on the disk as well.
Then, if you want, you can have a movie DVD produced with your digitized photos on it. We work with a local company who does wonderful work - Family Heritage Video. Their website is www.familyheritagevideo.com.
Lastly, if you want just a "quick & dirty" product, we can make a DVD for you with your pictures in a slideshow.
